I’m not one for wearing a lot of makeup, but I do love a good lipstick. So I ordered Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick to review, I was excited to try it out.
The lipstick comes in a pretty standard lipstick tube, with a black cap and silver lettering. The applicator is your average doe-foot applicator, which makes application a breeze.
The first thing I noticed when I put the lipstick on was how pigmented it is – one swipe and my lips were completely covered! The formula also dries quickly, so there’s no need to worry about it smudging or transferring. And the best part? The color is super saturated and the formula is long lasting with a matte finish. It’s also non-transferring, which is great because it means your lips will stay looking perfect all day long.
I tried the nude shade “Loyalist” and it matched my skin tone perfectly. I was a little worried that the matte finish would make my lips look dry and cracked, but that wasn’t the case at all. My lips looked smooth and hydrated all day long.
